Pricing Guide

How Much Does a Website Cost in Afghanistan?

If you are comparing the website price in Afghanistan, the honest answer is that it depends on what the website has to do. A simple business website, a larger professional website and an online store are different scopes of work. Below are my real starting prices — the same numbers shown on the homepage — followed by the factors that move a quote up or keep it down, so you can estimate your project before asking for an exact quote.

I am Luqman Safay, a PHP developer and full-stack web developer based in Kabul. I build websites and web applications for clients in Kabul and remotely across Afghanistan, and every project starts with a reviewed scope and a clear price agreed before development begins.

Cost Factors

What makes a website cost more or less?

Two websites that look similar can need very different amounts of work. These are the factors I price from:

Number of pages and content

A five-page business website is quicker to build than a large site with many service pages, galleries and articles. Content that is ready (text, logo, photos) also keeps the price down.

Design approach

A clean layout based on a proven structure costs less than a fully custom design with unique sections, animations and brand-specific visuals on every page.

Products and catalogue size

For online stores, the number of products, categories and product variations affects how much setup and data entry the store needs.

Custom features and admin tools

Login areas, admin dashboards, booking or order workflows, databases and custom business logic move a project from a website toward a custom web application, which is quoted per project.

Languages

A website in one language is the standard scope. Adding Dari, Pashto or English versions means additional layout, content and review work for each language.

Integrations and extras

Maps, social feeds, third-party tools, premium plugins or themes, and extra revision rounds are priced only when they are part of your agreed scope.

Scope

What is included — and what is not

Included in every website project

  • Responsive, mobile-friendly layout
  • The essential pages agreed in your scope
  • Contact form and WhatsApp integration
  • Basic SEO setup (titles, descriptions, structure)
  • Review against the agreed scope before launch
  • Launch and handover of the finished website

Only included when specifically agreed

  • Hosting and domain name (kept in your own name)
  • Premium plugins, themes or stock content
  • Payment gateways or checkout integrations
  • Writing all website content for you
  • Additional revision rounds beyond the agreed scope
  • Ongoing maintenance after launch

Nothing on this list is charged silently: if your project needs any of it, we agree it — and its cost — before work starts.

How It Works

FAQ

Website price questions

It depends on the type of website and the features you need. As a guide, business websites start from $100, professional websites from $150–$300, and e-commerce stores from $200+, while custom web applications are quoted per project. Send me your requirements on WhatsApp and you will get a clear, exact quote before any work starts.

Hosting and domain are not included in the starting prices above unless we specifically agree otherwise — they are separate services that you keep in your own name, which means you fully own your website. I can advise you on suitable options and connect everything for you as part of the setup.

Payment is divided into clear milestones, so you never pay everything upfront. Typically a deposit starts the project, a further payment is made at an agreed development milestone, and the final payment is made when the finished work is delivered and handed over to you. The exact schedule is agreed with you before we start.

Not automatically — the price follows the scope, not the tool. A standard business website sits in the same starting ranges whether it is built with WordPress or custom code. WordPress suits content-focused sites you want to update yourself; custom PHP/Laravel development is quoted per project when you need specific workflows, dashboards or database features.

Share what you want to build — the type of website, the pages or features you need, and any examples you like — through WhatsApp or the contact form. I review the requirements first, then confirm a clear scope and an exact price before development begins, so there are no surprises later.
